# Install your travel eSIM with a clear plan.

After your eSIM is delivered, open its installation details in DualLine and use the available QR, manual details or supported link. Follow your device’s instructions, then select the intended mobile data line. Installation and the start of plan validity are not always the same event.

## Before you open the installation screen

Check the package’s activation policy. If validity begins at installation, installing days before departure may use part of the validity period. If it begins on connection, read which network or destination triggers it.

Use a reliable internet connection. Keep the delivered installation details accessible without sharing them publicly. If the QR is on the same phone, check whether the supplied link or manual method is available.

## Follow the path for your phone

On iPhone, start in Settings → Cellular or Mobile Data → Add eSIM. On Samsung Galaxy, look in Settings → Connections → SIM manager. Names vary with software and region; use the manufacturer’s current instructions.

Use the installation method provided for this package. Do not invent an activation code or apply instructions from a different order.

1. Open the delivered eSIM in DualLine.
2. Choose the provided installation method.
3. Follow the phone’s confirmation screens.
4. Give the line a recognizable label.

## Check the result before you leave Wi-Fi

Confirm that the new profile appears in the phone’s SIM settings. Select the travel line for mobile data when you intend to use it, and apply the package’s roaming or APN instructions.

A profile appearing in settings does not prove that a network connection is available where you are. If the package only covers your destination, connection may wait until arrival. Keep your installation details and order reference accessible.

## Your take-away checklist

- Read when validity starts.
- Prepare a reliable internet connection.
- Use the details from the correct delivered order.
- Label the installed line.
- Review data-line, roaming and APN settings.
